The AMP Training and Education Committee Spotlight

Hosted by: AMP Training and Education Committee

Speaker: Yassmine Akkari, PhD, Vice Chair and Nathanael G. Bailey, MD, Chair, AMP Training & Education Committee

The AMP Training and Education (T&E) Committee is a community of molecular professionals who continue to generate and maintain a varied repertoire of Educational Content and Events. These include new content on hot topics (the AMP Horizons Webinar Series), various projects including webcast series programs, review and study aids for trainees and those pursuing Continuing Certification (e.g., Molecular in My PocketTM cards; Molecular Flashcards; the FISE exam), and general and review courses on the practice of Molecular Pathology. In addition, the T&E Committee surveys AMP Membership every two years regarding its needs and preferences for the design and delivery of new educational content. Join the Chair and Vice Chair of the AMP Training & Education Committee as they present the goals and objectives of the T&E Committee, the AMP Education Portfolio, and the results of the 2020 Educational Needs Survey. We also hope that you will join in on a discussion of your educational needs, how you can become involved, and ways that AMP Education and the T&E Committee can help you meet your educational goals.
